I think the last couple of weeks has thrown me out of kilter, I get up in the morning full of good intentions, but I haven't done a thing about the house since we returned from the UK.
I dress in my work clothes, but after breakfast that all changes, true... we have had to do a bit of rushing here and there, sorting out things that were on hold whilst we were away, but that is no excuse, and today I went back to bed this afternoon... knackered!.
Tomorrow we are rushing around again, I have to organise some medical appointments in the morning, then after lunch, I have got an appointment with an accountant to submit my first Colombian tax return, the law changed on 1st January 2013, and now, instead of having a five year tax break, all Foreigners have to submit a return from the date they enter the country as a resident. I am told that my bill should not be that high for last year, as I didn't own any property here, but what I don't yet know is how my pension will be effected, as there is no 'Double Tax Treaty' between Colombia and the UK, I could be stuffed on that, I'll just have to wait and see.
The first three years of my Blog follow my journey settling in to life following my move to Colombia in 2012. After yet another a break from Blogging, I am back, but with a change of emphasis, due to health problems, I have been spending less and less time in the workshop, so decided I either had to close the Blog, or revert to it's original use...a diary! So thats what I am doing, it feels good to be back.
